🎉 It’s official! After three years of building and planning, the day has finally come – we open our Smart Power Fab in Dresden on 2nd July. Embedded in Europe's largest microelectronics cluster Silicon Saxony and our global manufacturing landscape, the new fab continues the success story of the Dresden site, which already consists of two independent 300 mm and 200 mm production lines, covering products across all four business segments. ⚡ In our new Smart Power Fab, we will focus on power semiconductors and analog/mixed‑signal components, which enable energy‑efficient, intelligent systems – shaping future mobility, driving energy transition, powering AI and connecting digital and physical worlds. 🌱 Setting new standards in environmental protection with the most efficient use of energy and water: Targeting the “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” (LEED) certification for the Smart Power Fab as Infineon’s first production site. With the Smart Power Fab, Infineon is making a strong impact for Germany, Europe and beyond. We look forward to celebrating the opening on site this summer.
