🇵🇱🛡️ Danish defence technology company MyDefence, specialising in drone detection and countermeasures, has appointed Paulina Epler as its Country Director in Poland. This gives the company a direct presence on a market where few Danish defence tech firms operate. MyDefence was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Hørsholm. Its systems are already used by NATO armed forces. Paulina Epler joins MyDefence from Raytheon Polska, where she was responsible for business development and industrial cooperation with Polish partners. Her career spans both the public sector – including a role at the Polish Air Force Command – and the defence industry, including the Polish Armaments Group, PIT-RADWAR, Thales Polska and Raytheon Polska. In 2025, Poland spent 5 per cent of its GDP on defence, one of the highest ratios in NATO (the alliance average is around 2.5‑3 per cent). Drone detection and countermeasure systems are a key element of Poland‘s air defence modernisation, particularly in light of the war in Ukraine. MyDefence CEO Dan Hermansen noted that Poland is developing its air defence systems at an unprecedented pace and that Paulina Epler understands the needs of public administration, end‑users and the defence industry alike. 🔗 Link to the article in the comments.
