🌊 World Oceans Day: Advancing a Sustainable Blue Economy At Indosuez Wealth Management, ocean preservation and the advancement of a responsible blue economy are central to our mission. The blue economy offers significant opportunities for growth, but it also demands collective responsibility in addressing major challenges such as climate change, ocean acidification, plastic pollution, and biodiversity loss. Transitioning to a sustainable blue economy requires substantial and coordinated capital mobilization, particularly from private sources, where finance plays a pivotal role. In Monaco, Indosuez is deeply committed to protecting marine ecosystems by guiding clients toward positive-impact investments and supporting scientific research. This commitment is demonstrated through the creation of a solidarity investment product that supports the “Initiative des aquariums de Méditerranée 30x30,” aimed at protecting 30% of the Mediterranean by 2030, a project led by the Institut océanographique de Monaco, our strategic partner. We are also supporting the CENTRE SCIENTIFIQUE DE MONACO, the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge, and the association We Are Méditerranée. These efforts are part of a dynamic Monegasque ecosystem and are further amplified during major events such as the Monaco Blue Initiative and the Blue Economy & Finance Forum (BEFF), a catalyst for collaboration, turning ambition into actionable, funded projects. In France, Indosuez is a founding member of the Blue Tech Index, which aims to promote innovation and growth among start-ups in the blue economy. The Groupe Crédit Agricole is also strongly committed to ocean protection through its various subsidiaries, including Crédit Agricole CIB, Amundi, Crédit Agricole du Finistère, Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée, Crédit Agricole d'Ille-et-Vilaine, and Crédit Agricole Atlantique Vendée, all of which are leading concrete initiatives in financing, innovation, sponsorship, and awareness to safeguard marine ecosystems. The ocean is not only a legacy to be preserved; it is also a realm of opportunity. To realize its full potential, we must rethink our models and act collectively. Public institutions, businesses, and investors all have a role to play in accelerating the transition to a sustainable blue economy. #ArchitectOfWealth #WorldOceansDay #BlueEconomy #SustainableFinance
