The first six months of the year just flew by in a flash, and it was apt to get together for a timely pulse check in Asia this week at the mid-year investment outlook luncheons. We welcomed Dr. Li Mingjiang, our special guest from RSIS, NTU, who offered timely and insightful perspectives on the shifting geopolitical landscape and the implications for the global order. Afterwards, we discussed strategies for building resilient portfolios in the face of tariffs, geopolitical tensions, and rapid market transitions with experts from our CIO office Alexandre Drabowicz, CAIA Drabowicz and Francis Tan, together with Nicolas RENAULD for private markets. Alexandre and Francis, together with Laurent Proutiere and Michael Kofman, also hosted our media partners over lunch along with a view. We also took the opportunity to bring Alexandre on CNBC’s Squawk Box Asia, where he discussed the latest market movements live on air with JP Ong and Christine Tan.
