O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs Assistant Professor Adriana Molina-Garzón is working on technology to deliver life-saving medical supplies to remote communities in need. Through the company Zipline, her and her colleagues are utilizing drones to fill critical gaps between rural communities in Ghana needing medical supplies and getting those vital items delivered in a timely manner. “From our perspective, it is not only important because a person’s access to medical care impacts their health but also because when people are healthy, they are better able to work, and have a full life," said Molina-Garzón.
