š¢ Call for Expressions of Interest (EoI) Prime Minister Research Chair (PMRC) Scheme, 2026 The School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (SMMME), Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, invites Expressions of Interest (EoI) from eligible and accomplished Indian-origin researchers, scientists, technologists, and professionals currently working abroad who are interested in applying under the Prime Minister Research Chair (PMRC) Scheme, 2026, with IIT Bhubaneswar as the proposed Host Institution. SMMME is particularly interested in receiving proposals aligned with the following thematic areas under the PMRC Scheme: š¹ Advanced Materials, Rare Earths and Critical Minerals š¹ Sustainability and Climate Change š¹ Semiconductors and Microelectronics š¹ Space and Defence Technologies š¹ Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Advanced Production Technologies š¹ Biotechnology and Bioengineering š¹ Advanced Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies š¹ Healthcare, Medical Technologies and MedTech Interested scholars are requested to submit an Expression of Interest along with the following documents: āļø A detailed curriculum vitae, including academic qualifications, professional experience, research accomplishments, and major achievements; āļø A brief research vision and proposed work plan aligned with one or more of the above thematic areas; āļø A list of key publications, patents, technologies developed, awards, recognitions, and other notable contributions; āļø Details of major research projects undertaken, laboratory and infrastructure requirements, and potential national and international collaborations; and āļø A brief note outlining the anticipated national relevance, societal and industrial impact, and expected outcomes of the proposed research.
