Surgery has always been learned by watching. For the first time, AI makes it possible to capture, structure, and transmit that knowledge at scale. That's the long game Ines Iraki, Johann Diep, and Eric Vibert, MD, PhD are playing with Uncovr. The near-term problem they're solving is urgent enough on its own: the official record of a surgical procedure is still written from memory, hours after the event, by a surgeon who's already moved on to the next case. Uncovr generates the operative report and procedural coding automatically, directly from the surgical video already being captured in the OR. We're thrilled to lead their $7M seed round.
