Rivenhall is proof that innovation and preservation can go hand in hand. 🌿 At Rivenhall, sustainability is about more than the Energy-from-Waste facility itself. It is also about protecting the site's heritage, supporting biodiversity and creating long-term value for the surrounding environment. Alongside the construction of the new facility, we have been carefully restoring the site's listed farm buildings, some of which date back to the 17th century. Using traditional heritage techniques while incorporating modern standards, these buildings are being given a new future. As Gareth Jones, Project Development Specialist at Indaver, explains: "We've been refurbishing the old buildings using traditional heritage techniques to bring them back to life, while incorporating modern techniques so they meet current standards and can be inhabited again."
