⚡ Energy innovators in Africa, here’s grant funding and technical support for your work 👇 The Digital Energy Challenge Call for Projects (51 African countries, Deadline: June 17, 2026) invites SMEs with solutions that improve energy access, accelerate the energy transition, and strengthen the performance of energy utilities across Africa to apply for its Tech Accelerator and Partnership Track. The challenge is looking for digital and AI-enabled solutions in three focus areas: grid planning and investment optimisation, microgrid and distributed energy resource management, and data platforms and integrated network visibility Selected projects will receive: 🔹 Grants of up to EUR 150,000 through the Tech Accelerator and up to EUR 400,000 through the Partnership Track 🔹 Expert support and bootcamps, and opportunities for collaboration with African utilities 🔹 Visibility and networking through AFD campaigns, and access to the Digital Energy Community Note that the Digital Energy Partnership Track is for a collaborative project in Nigeria with the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company.
