In2MedSchool are proud to announce the success of our first-ever South West Conference, held on 18th April 2026. The day welcomed aspiring medics from across the South West and beyond, with students travelling from neighbouring counties including Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset, and even Wales. We were thrilled to host over 60 fantastic students. The morning featured inspiring talks on: • A Day in the Life of a Medical Student • Alternative Routes to Medicine • Personal Statements • Medicine Interviews In the afternoon, students took part in rotational interactive workshops, including: • UCAT 101 • Introduction to Clinical Skills (BLS, vital signs, and communication skills) • PBL Taster Session • MDT Session for younger students A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who generously donated their time and expertise to make the day such a great success.
