Excited to kick off the Photonics for Quantum (P4Q) project in Enschede together with partners from across Europe! 🇪🇺✨ Hosted by the University of Twente, the two-day kick-off meeting brought the consortium together in person for inspiring discussions, technical exchanges, and the start of a strong collaboration in the field of quantum photonics. Highlights included: 🔹 A fascinating lab tour of the MESA+ NanoLab and the XUV Optics Group at the University of Twente 🔹 Insightful pillar pitches and breakout sessions on upcoming activities 🔹 Valuable discussions on PDKs for quantum photonics, including insights shared by Twan Korthorst from New Origin At Institut für Mikroelektronik Stuttgart (IMS CHIPS), we are proud to contribute to the consortium by developing #LithiumNiobatephotonics for #quantum applications, helping to advance Europe’s quantum technology ecosystem. P4Q, the Framework Partnership Agreement under the Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) for Photonics for Quantum, is supported by the European Union and the National Public Authorities of the participating partners. A big thank you to the University of Twente for hosting and organizing such a successful start to the project! 👥 P4Q Consortium: University of Twente | AIT Austrian Institute of Technology | Aluvia Photonics | AMIRES | AQT | C2N - Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies | CEA-Leti | Delft Networks | ICFO | imec | Institut für Mikroelektronik Stuttgart (IMS CHIPS) | Leonardo | LIGENTEC | LioniX International | New Origin | planqc | Q*Bird | QphoX | QuiX Quantum | SINTEF | Sparrow Quantum | Thales Alenia Space | Thales | TNO | Delft University of Technology | Eindhoven University of Technology | Tyndall National Institute | VTT | Quandela
