Anyone who knows Imerys, knows how deep our roots run in Cornwall. That’s why it means so much to us to have donated land to the creation of a new national nature reserve: the Mid Cornwall Moors. 🌿 Participating in this project is incredibly important to us, even if our piece of the puzzle is a modest one. While our contribution of 29.5 hectares is a small part of this massive landscape (more than 1,100 hectares), we are so glad to see it support the protection of some of Cornwall’s rarest wildlife. The site has just become the 14th reserve declared as part of the King's series of National Nature Reserves, with 25 new protected areas planned by 2028. We are honored to be included in this collective effort and are grateful to Natural England for bringing us all together to protect Cornwall's unique habitats.
