Europe has strong research foundations. Turning that strength into industrial scale will define its competitiveness. At this year’s Global Semiconductor Alliance European Executive Forum 2026 in Munich, our CEO Patrick Vandenameele shared how Europe can translate scientific excellence into industrial leadership, in a context where technology, applications and global dynamics are evolving rapidly. As AI, physical intelligence and quantum technologies advance, competitiveness will increasingly depend on how quickly innovations move from research to manufacturing and market adoption.
