Before becoming a researcher at imec, Aarti Rathi first learned one important lesson: “𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗶𝗴.” 💭 We asked our colleagues what advice they would give their younger selves, and in this video, Aarti shares the story behind hers. Growing up in India, she was fortunate to have parents who believed deeply in the power of education and gender equality, and encouraged her to pursue opportunities that were not always considered obvious for girls in her community. Today, she combines a career in research with a strong focus on wellbeing and balance, proving that ambition and self-care can go hand in hand.
