Founder to VC | Early-stage sourcing in emerging markets

Spent yesterday at the LvlUp Ventures Founder & Investor Networking event. Good to finally meet Sarah Romanko in person and talk briefly. Looking forward to continue our discussion. I’m currently in Venture Institute, and Sarah is an alum. Shoutout to Adeo Ressi and Myrto Lalacos for building a community where those connections continue beyond the program. It was great meeting Vinod Borsadiya, founder and CEO of NasalRx, Inc, a medtech-pharma company focused on opioid overdose response. Their flagship product is a naloxone nasal spray designed for rapid overdose reversal. The team is also developing NalSafe, a system that combines wearable biosensors, a mobile application, and intranasal naloxone to detect and respond to overdoses in real time. I’m continuing to explore how to bring more Central Asian builders into rooms like this. What challenges do you see early-stage international founders facing when entering U.S.?
