𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿   A delegation from Ukrhydroenergo (UHE) recently visited Austria as part of the project “Ukraine: Advisory Services for the Improvement of Ukrhydroenergo’s ESG.” The project, financed by the EBRD and carried out by AV Group - sustainable consulting together with Alpage and ILF Consulting Engineers in Austria, combined ESG workshops, technical presentations, and site visits at various locations across Austria. ILF contributed knowledge from its Sustainable Solutions Team and Hydropower Team, covering ESG, risk management, and hydropower topics. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) provides a framework for organizations to identify, assess, and manage sustainability-related aspects of their activities and decision-making processes. Chandrasekhar Ramakrishnan and Josef P. Mayr, Managing Directors of ILF Austria, welcomed the Ukrhydroenergo delegation during the visit program in Vienna and Innsbruck. As part of the project, the delegation explored Austrian and European best practices in areas such as ESG governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and ESG reporting. The program also provided insights into evolving European regulatory frameworks, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and facilitated the exchange of experiences between Austrian experts and Ukrhydroenergo representatives.   We would like to thank all project partners involved — Ukrhydroenergo (UHE), AV Group, Alpage, and EBRD — for their collaboration.
