Coordinated by the University of Duisburg-Essen, this major consortium is backed by €12.9 million in funding for its initial phase starting October 2026. The consortium will investigate how skin cancer tumours adapt and develop resistance in the early weeks of therapy. By combining technology-driven basic research with complex computational models, the team will predict tumour behaviour to enable earlier, life-saving interventions. We are incredibly excited that Prof. Dr. Felix Nensa, Prof. Dr. Florian Rambow, and Prof.Dr. Johannes KΓΆster from IKIM are part of this vital initiative! Together with our partners at the University of Bonn and Leibniz-Institut fΓΌr Analytische Wissenschaften – ISAS – e.V., we are pushing the boundaries of medical AI. πŸ‘‰ Read the full announcement: https://lnkd.in/e3T-93ek #IKIM #DYNAMO #MelanomaResearch #CancerResearch #MedicalAI #DigitalHealth
