Recently, the Universiteit van Amsterdam founded a new and unique drugslab: not a lab like Walter White's that makes drugs, but one that is allowed to conduct research on illegal drugs. It is quite unusual for a university to get a license for this type of research. The programme director of the Master's programme Forensic Science, Prof. Dr. Arian van Asten, explains more about it in this video created by journalists Romain Beker and Sija van den Beukel of Folia.
