How can integrity in higher education be strengthened so that universities continue connecting societies across borders? Combatting corruption, enabled by weak governance, is key, and international organisations must act now, writes IIEP's Muriel Poisson and Elena Denisova-Schmidt in an article for University World News. International organisations have the legitimacy, tools, and reach to defend the inherent values and academic principles of higher education.
