Exciting news for the global water community! 🎉As of 1 May, IHE Delft has officially become the host of Cap-Net, the International Capacity Development Network for Sustainable Water Management. This milestone builds on a long-standing partnership between IHE Delft and Cap-Net, in a shared commitment to strengthening capacity, advancing knowledge, and supporting sustainable water management worldwide. Since its establishment in 2002, Cap-Net has grown into a global platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation, connecting 23 regional and thematic networks and working with more than 40 international organizations to address critical water challenges through education and professional development. 🤝 Together, IHE Delft and Cap-Net are already contributing to key UNESCO and UN-Water initiatives, including the Water Education Indicator and the Capacity Development Initiative. We are also collaborating with UNESCO and SIWI on the development of the Global Water Education Network (GWEN), recognized as one of the key "game changers" emerging from the UN 2023 Water Conference. We look forward to building on this momentum and strengthening global partnerships that advance water education, institutional capacity, and sustainable water management for a water-secure future. 💙 👉 https://lnkd.in/eXjeHvvZ Thank you Gaetano Casale, for working on this milestone. #WaterManagement #CapacityDevelopment #WaterEducation #Sustainability #UNWater #UNESCO #CapNet #IHEDelft #WaterSecurity #SDG6
