The IFRC is deeply concerned by the escalating hostilities in the Middle East. Across the region, Red Cross and Red Crescent teams are on the ground, delivering emergency medical care, supporting search and rescue, and helping communities access lifesaving assistance as needs continue to grow.   The IFRC has activated its Disaster Response Emergency Fund, allocating 1.5 million CHF to support the response in Iran, with operations aiming to reach 200,000 people over the coming months.   At all times, the safety and protection of humanitarian workers must be respected, so they can continue their vital mission. 🎙️ Tommaso Della Longa
