The Empress Shōken Fund, run jointly by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - IFRC and International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC, has announced its 2026 funding allocations, over CHF 430,000 awarded to 15 National Societies across the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.   From disaster preparedness and first aid to mental health, social inclusion, and youth-led climate action, these initiatives reflect a strong commitment to innovation, experimentation, and locally driven solutions.   With a record number of applications this year, the selected projects highlight how National Societies are continuously testing, learning, and scaling approaches to increase humanitarian impact.   A powerful reminder that investing in innovation is key to building resilient communities worldwide.   🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/eBQqY4Us
