New CTO at ifm🎉 As of May 1, 2026, there are changes at the top management level of the ifm group: After nearly 35 successful years at ifm, CTO Benno Kathan retired at the end of April. His successor is Dr. Volker Frey, who has taken on the role of Managing Director and now holds overall technical responsibility for sensor technology. In addition to the ifm position group, he is also responsible for the ifm process group.🚀 ⚙️At the same time, Martin Buck (co-CEO) is assuming responsibility for the technical management of ifm solutions, alongside his leadership of the ifm network & control group.
