Turning Tides: How a seaside town in Finland is rethinking approaches to industrial growth. 🌊🇫🇮 Along the shores of Hanko, we’re showing that industrial growth and environmental stewardship can be pursued together. Over the last decade, our biotech team has nearly doubled production while cutting nutrient discharge into the Baltic Sea by more than half. By transforming how we manage resources, recovering excess heat to warm local homes and using a reverse osmosis facility to create freshwater from the sea, we are integrating our operations more closely with the ecosystems we call home.
