“Out of sight is out of mind.” Those 6 words from Omobabinrin Adeola Osideko Adeola Osideko, our lead trainer at TIBA Academy, completely reframed LinkedIn for me. I strongly admire Omobabinrin Adeola Osideko, she inspires me a lot. She oozes so much confidence, she’s warm but very strict and professional . From our very first live class which was a general class, she had me seated, locked in. Taking notes like my career depended on it because it does. And yesterday, as we wrapped up Week 6 of training, she took us deep into LinkedIn optimization. My biggest takeaway? What she said about creating contents. Content is how you express what you do. No matter how skilled you are, If you don’t tell people what you do, they will not notice you. For LinkedIn, consistency isn’t optional. Posting content = visibility. Visibility = authority. Authority = connections, clients and job offers. But here’s the important part that stuck with me,great content follows the 2 I’s and 2 E’s rule. The 2 I’s: It’s either your content is inspiring or informative. The 2 E’s: Educative or entertaining. Stop posting randomly, stop posting things that don’t matter. Post to be seen, post to be remembered, post to be sought after. Communicate your value through content. Talk about your experiences, your skills, talk about helpful tips ,your beliefs, your talents , a day in your life and more. This is what’s helped people win on LinkedIn. This is what’s keeping professionals on top of their game. And I’m living proof, i am currently mastering Customer Relationship Management at TIBA Academy. In 6 weeks at the academy, I’ve gone from silent to strategic. I created this LinkedIn account last week and even I’m surprised, it doesn’t feel new, feels like i have been here forever. To my coursemates and fellow Cohort 2 trainees, WELDONE . It’s been a beautiful ride, even with the hectic assignments, course projects and late nights. I can’t wait for us to finish strong and graduate together come July 4th. We’re almost there.Anita C. Duru To Omobabinrin Adeola Osideko, thank you so much ma. To the facilitators, moderators and class captains at TIBA Academy ,thank you. You didn’t just teach us skills, you poured yourself into us and taught us to show up. One thing is clear, the training is well organized and structured and designed for real results. The entire TIBA team is exceptional, everything runs like a clockwork. They deserve their flowers.Jessica Khadijat Iyabo Ishiaku Ajoke Yusuf Olabisi Aladejebi Blessing Aggreh Honestly?
