¿Qué hace falta para que más niñas se imaginen en la ingeniería? Cada 23 de junio, el Día Internacional de la Mujer en la Ingeniería pone el foco en una realidad: sigue siendo necesario visibilizar referentes y abrir camino a nuevas vocaciones. En IDOM, una de las formas en las que contribuimos a este objetivo es a través de nuestra participación en Inspira STEAM, un programa de mentoría que acerca la ingeniería y la tecnología a jóvenes estudiantes, ayudándoles a descubrir su potencial sin los estereotipos que tradicionalmente han marcado estas disciplinas. Este año, profesionales de IDOM, Beatriz Chávarri y Mailliw Gómez de Telecomunicaciones, y AINARA MIRA de IDOM | Nuclear Services, han participado como mentoras en el programa. Every June 23, International Women in Engineering Day highlights the fact that we still need to showcase role models and pave the way for new careers. At IDOM, we contribute to this goal by participating in Inspira STEAM, a mentoring program that introduces young students to engineering and technology. This program helps students discover their potential, free from the traditional stereotypes of these disciplines. This year, three IDOM professionals participated as mentors in the program: Beatriz Chávarri & Mailliw Gómez from Telecommunications area and Ainara Mira from IDOM | Nuclear Services area.
