From support for Nasrallah to asylum in Europe - the secret connections of senior criminal officers from the Assad regime. Maamoun Abdel Karim, the former director general of the Antiquities Authority of the Bashar al-Assad regime, is currently residing in Sharjah. He worked with Asma al-Assad and Bashar al-Assad and received their support. He attended Bashar al-Assad's inauguration speech and has ties to Iranian militias and Hezbollah. He is involved in smuggling antiquities through Hezbollah. He misled Europe through his position at UNESCO, sending Palestinian Khaled Hayatli to the Netherlands for the organization’s workshops, after which Hayatli applied for political asylum in Europe. Khaled is affiliated with Ahmed Jibril’s group. Maamoun sent several of his followers and associates to Europe, claiming they were attending workshops, but in truth he sold them visas so they could seek asylum. Among them is Ayham Fakhri, now in France, who coordinated with ISIS, and Diaa Moussa, a reserve officer in the Netherlands who stayed in the regime’s army until 2020. Maamoun arranged for Moussa’s trip to Europe through the Hungarian delegation. Khaled Khayatli, director of Maamoun Abdel Karim’s office, is a Palestinian from Ahmed Jibril’s group. Maamoun allegedly sent him to the Netherlands through fraudulent means, exploiting Syria’s membership in international organizations, where he then sought asylum in Europe. Khaled acts as Maamoun’s right-hand man, handling relations with Asma al-Assad and Hezbollah militias in matters related to smuggling antiquities from Mamluk. Diaa Moussa, now in the Netherlands, served as an officer in the Syrian army until 2022. Maamoun is said to have arranged his move to Europe via the Hungarian embassy through fraudulent channels. Once in the Netherlands, Diaa sought political asylum and began posting content praising Maamoun Abdel Karim, along with sharing photos of himself with actress Sulaf Fawakherji – who supports Bashar al-Assad – and offering condolences for the deaths of Iranians, Hassan Nasrallah, and Khomeini. Diaa Moussa comes from the eastern countryside of Salamiyah, and his entire home village is controlled by militias. Diaa is a staunch supporter of the regime and remained fighting in the ranks of Assad’s army until 2022. He maintains ties with the Iranian militias in his area, some of whose members are now on trial in the Netherlands and Belgium. Diaa has very strong ties with Maamoun, and it was Maamoun Abdel Karim who arranged for him to be sent to Hungary after serving as a lieutenant in the army. From there Diaa moved to the Netherlands and sought political asylum. Since then, he has been promoting and publicizing Maamoun Abdel Karim. Let them enjoy Europe while they have the chance. Maybe this chance is lmited in time.
