Strengthening primary healthcare through digital innovation ICMR has launched an offline mobile application to support Community Health Officers (CHOs) at Sub-Centres–Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (SC-AAMs). Aligned with Comprehensive Primary Health Care, the app serves as a decision-support tool to assist CHOs in patient assessment, triage, and management, while enabling early identification of cases requiring emergency referral. It also provides guidance on pre-referral care, teleconsultation, and facility-level treatment. A key feature is its intuitive colour-coded workflow system, designed to simplify and expedite clinical decision-making at the frontline. Launched on April 13, 2026, ahead of Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre Day, by Dr. Vinod Paul, Member, NITI Aayog in the presence of Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Secretary DHR and Director-General, ICMR. #ICMR #DigitalHealth #Healthcare #ArogyaMandirs #PublicHealth #HealthcareInnovation #AyushmanBharat NITI Aayog
