From forest restoration to wildlife conservation to community development, this story is about the environmental turnaround at the Satpura Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh. To make a forest lively again MP Tiger Foundation Society and ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth (the CSR arm of ICICI Bank) came together. Their collaborated efforts helped in: -Increasing the Barasingha population from 16 to 79 in the Matkuli region -Creation of nearly 25 crore litres of annual water capacity -Wildlife monitoring through installation of 270 trap cameras -Benefitting lives of 16,000 lives across 89 villages This story is a reminder that forests are the indeed the foundation of life.
