When it comes to AI, having a great algorithm isn’t enough. Our constellation gives us access to an unparalleled volume of SAR imagery, which is critical for training and validating robust AI tools that work in real operational conditions. We’re also using AI to accelerate the final step: turning data into decisions. We’re building capabilities like Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) directly into our pipeline, so users receive processed insights rather than raw SAR images they have to analyze themselves. Space-based ISR has changed. Image quality still matters, but in fast-moving tactical environments, minutes can define outcomes. That’s why we’re focused on reducing latency across the entire chain: from faster planning and tasking and smarter flight software, to reduced downlink bottlenecks and accelerated SAR processing with AI-powered analytics. At ICEYE, we see latency as time to decision, and we’re working to make 15-minute image delivery the standard.
