ICEYE was honored to welcome Vice Admiral Carsten Stawitzki, German National Director for Armament, German Ministry of Defense and Olli Ruutu, Director General of the Finnish National Armaments Directorate, Finnish Ministry of Defense, along with their delegations, at our headquarters in Espoo last week. Discussions centered on the role of #SAR technology in modern defense and the importance of sovereign space-based #ISR in delivering the situational awareness that today's security environment requires. We also shared our approach towards a fully integrated, multi-modal sovereign space-based ISR capability for Germany and Europe, uniting leading NewSpace companies under one roof. We look forward to deepening discussions and the partnership with the German and Finnish Ministries of Defense to advance sovereign space-based ISR and contribute to the long-term security of Germany, Finland, and Europe.
