As part of our 60th anniversary alumni series, we are highlighting former ICEPRONAV ENGINEERING SRL colleagues who have gone on to successful careers across the international marine industry. Valentin Gheoca, joined ICEPRONAV in 2007 as a Junior Outfitting Engineer, building experience across offshore, naval and commercial ship design projects before progressing through project management and estimating roles. Today, as Director, Functional Engineering at Vancouver Shipyards in Canada, he leads a team of around 200 engineers working on major ship design programmes, including Polar and Multi-Purpose Icebreaker projects.
