ACADEMIC YEAR 2026 – FEBRUARY SEMESTER ORIENTATION ADDRESS 12 February 2026 marked a memorable and significant occasion for International Computer College (ICC). As an institution, we have come a long way - and we continue to move forward with determination and purpose. After two years, holding our 2026 Orientation at Hideaway Hotel was both meaningful and emotional. It symbolised growth, resilience, and the steady progress ICC has made over time. We are encouraged by how far we have come and remain committed to achieving even greater milestones ahead. We sincerely thank all students who attended the orientation. Your presence, engagement, and enthusiasm made the event successful. The orientation provided valuable insights into academic expectations, discipline, and personal development - lessons that will guide you throughout your journey at ICC. Now is the time to focus. This is the moment to commit yourself fully to your studies, to develop discipline, and to work diligently toward your goals. During the welcoming address, Mr. John Raem , the Managing Director shared two profound life truths to students that are worth reflecting on: [1] 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂; 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. This reminds us that success is earned through discipline, commitment, consistency, effort, contribution, and relevance - not entitlement. [2] 𝗔 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻. Education is not just about certificates, but about character, discipline, competence, and the ability to make a positive impact. If you make yourself become valuable and useful, your qualification also becomes valuable and meaningful. As you begin this academic year 2026, we encourage you to take these words seriously, apply yourself wholeheartedly, and strive not only for academic success but also for personal growth.
