Our colleagues authored two comprehensive reviews addressing important questions in current sepsis research: 📖 Immunosuppression in the Pathophysiology of Sepsis By Tristan Couwenbergh and Wouter van der Heijden 📖 Sepsis and Systemic Inflammatory Syndromes: Effects of Systemic Inflammation on the Brain By Mayra Romijnders, Bram Snoek, Luc van Oss, Peter Pickkers, and Wilson Farid Abdo 🌱 Both reviews provide an up-to-date overview of the underlying mechanisms of sepsis and its neurological consequences, with the aim of bridging fundamental insights and clinical practice.
