💡 CES in cooperation with iC Ukraine contributed to the heat supply modernization concept and supported its implementation in restoration of the multi-apartment building in Trostianets, Ukraine. The project has now been successfully completed, thanks to the support of partners Greenpeace, Umweltstiftung Greenpeace, and Green Planet Energy and the close cooperation of the Trostianets municipality. ⚙️ Within this framework, the building was equipped with: -ground- and air-source heat pumps (>100 kW total capacity), -a 12 kWp rooftop solar PV system with an energy storage system. The heat pumps fully meet the heating and domestic hot water demand of the building’s residents. ✅ This project is more than a reconstruction; it is a practical step toward fossil-free housing in Ukraine. The Zero Gas strategy formed the core of the Trostianets city’s Master Plan, developed by CES and iC in cooperation with international experts.
