🏭 Excursion to GEA Westfalia Separator Group (Oelde) Last week, a group of around 20 Biotechnology Master’s students from Technische Universität Braunschweig, together with several PhD researchers from the Institut für Bioverfahrenstechnik, TU Braunschweig, visited GEA Group Westfalia Separator in Oelde. Alongside an impressive factory tour and insights into the test center, we also attended excellent talks on biotechnological applications of disc stack separators. The practical examples sparked great interest among the students, and it was impressive to hear that GEA separators support up to 3,000 different processes. A big thank-you to Jonas Koch, Dipl.-Ing.
