The International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signaling their intention to collaborate long-term on promoting quality education across ICESCO’s 53 member states. Under the MoU, the organisations will collaborate to support the development of ICESCO member states' education systems, build and strengthen government capacity in line with IB educational approaches, and engage in wider sectoral dialogue – all in support of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
