Last weekend, the Caucasus and Central Asia Association of IB World Schools hosted its 5th Experiential Learning Conference in Tbilisi, bringing together more than 500 educators and leaders from across the region. In their remarks, Vedrana Pavletić and Haif Bannayan emphasized the vital role IB associations play in building strong and connected learning communities. This commitment is clearly reflected through the IB’s growing presence across the Caucasus and Central Asia over the last five years. Vedrana Pavletić moderated a dynamic IB Career-related Programme panel on tourism and hospitality management, featuring inspiring specialists from UN Tourism, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, as well as the Astana Garden School. With the theme Engage, Explore, Empower, the conference highlighted the strength of this regional IB community and the impact of strong collaboration. Thank you to all the speakers and to the dedicated educators who continue shaping meaningful learning experiences across the region.
