A full house here in Ibec this morning as we welcomed Minister Jack Chambers for a special event reflecting on the first 6 months of the Accelerating Infrastructure Taskforce’s Action Plan - recognising early wins and focusing on what it takes to sustain this critical momentum. Following an insightful fireside chat with the Minister, an expert panel shared practical perspectives on unlocking infrastructure delivery at pace and scale. Together, we explored how to bridge the gap between planning approval and on-the-ground execution, strengthen public-private collaboration, and ensure we have the systems in place to deliver critical infrastructure efficiently. Irish business recognises its responsibility to actively champion the national strategic value and long-term societal benefits of major infrastructure projects. Building public consensus for these projects requires strong partnership. Early, clear communication is vital to securing public acceptance, and industry stands ready to work with Government - backed by proactive political leadership - to better articulate the incredible public interest benefits of getting these projects built.
