Your production line is secure. Your IT systems are secure. But are they secure together? From connected machines and predictive maintenance to smart products controlled via apps, systems have become highly connected. They no longer live in just one world. What often gets overlooked: the interface between IT and operational technology (OT) is where new security risks emerge. We address security where worlds meet. Instead of treating IT and OT separately, we look at them as one connected system. Software development processes, IT security measures and OT requirements are aligned from the start. Risks are assessed consistently across the system. And protection mechanisms are designed across system boundaries, not in isolated silos. This integrated view reduces blind spots and limits attack paths that exploit gaps between IT and OT. At the same time, it helps keep complexity manageable and supports stable, auditable system architectures. The message is straightforward: When IT and OT grow together, security must do the same. š¬ In our latest video, we show how IT and OT security come together in practice. Take a look and see how integrated protection helps close gaps between both worlds. Our cybersecurity experts Dennis Kengo Oka, Ph.D. and Marco Siebert are happy to pick up your questions and thoughts.
