Why Engineering Outputs Can't Be Trusted, Even When the Data Is Correct When Everything Looks Correct… but Nothing Feels Reliable The design is done. The model is accurate, the drawing is complete, and Vault confirms the correct revision and lifecycle state. By every visible measure, the data is in order. So why does the downstream team still ask the engineer to double-check the PDF? Why does manufacturing request a fresh STEP export even though one already exists? Why does procurement compare the BOM export against the drawing before placing an order? Nothing is obviously wrong.
