I am very pleased to share that on 17 July 2025 the French financial markets authority, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), has granted regulatory authorisation to atmencapital as a French portfolio management company (subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent, which are a standard part of the regulatory approval process). This marks a major step forward in our journey and the upcoming launch of our first Cat Bond investment strategy. By way of reminder: ▪️ atmencapital will be the first French asset management boutique exclusively dedicated to Cat Bond investment strategies. The founding members bring extensive experience from their past tenure at Swiss Re and AXA, and are recognised experts in Cat Bonds underwriting and asset management. ▪️ atmencapital aims to launch — for professional investors exclusively — the first French-domiciled, UCITS V-compliant mutual fund dedicated to the active, long-only management of a broadly diversified portfolio of Cat Bonds. ▪️ Cat Bonds (Catastrophe Bonds) address the growing societal need for protection against extreme climate-related risks.
