🔎 New video online on the I.CaRe Bordeaux YouTube channel! 🎥 This week, we present a sutureless robot-assisted partial nephrectomy—a technique aimed at preserving renal function while reducing operative time. The procedure was carried out by Prof. Jean-Christophe BERNHARD and Dr Gaëlle Margue.  This surgical technique was showcased at the European Association of Urology congress (2024). 📌 Case summary: A 53-year-old patient with a 6.5 cm left renal lesion underwent a minimally invasive procedure using the Da Vinci Xi robotic system. With the aid of 3D surgical planning and intraoperative ultrasound, an off-clamp lumpectomy was performed. Haemostasis was achieved through progressive spray-mode coagulation, without suturing the renal parenchyma.
