Are AI pilots really making it into production? That was the central theme of an AI leadership roundtable organized by HYSEA and hosted by Lyric, bringing together AI leaders from Broadridge India, RealPage India, Innominds, KPMG India, OpenText India, Tredence Inc., Bristol Myers Squibb, Tech Mahindra, Deccan AI and other AI native startups and GCCs. The discussion was facilitated by Parikshit Dubey, who shared perspectives on AI adoption trends and talent availability across Indian industry. Three key takeaways: • Talent remains the biggest differentiator: AI skills, leadership readiness, and change management are separating leaders from followers. • The focus has shifted from pilots to scale: Organizations are increasingly realizing value from AI. However, enterprise-wide adoption requires robust operating models, business alignment, and disciplined execution. • Hyderabad’s ecosystem is emerging as a competitive advantage: Enterprises are increasingly leveraging the city’s vibrant startup, GCC, and academic ecosystem to accelerate innovation, access talent, and bring AI solutions to market faster. A strong consensus emerged across the room: AI is no longer a technology experiment. The real challenge is deploying it responsibly, repeatedly, and at scale. Thank you to all the leaders who shared candid experiences and practical insights, reinforcing Hyderabad’s growing role as a hub for AI innovation, enterprise transformation, and technology leadership.
