“Disagreement is a natural part of collaboration and healthy team dynamics. But in a moment where AI often mirrors, supports, or agrees with the person using it, there is a risk that something deeply human starts to weaken: our ability to work through differences together.” This perspective became the starting point for a recent collaboration between Hyper Island and Miro. Together with Wessel van den Bos and Anna Boyarkina, our students spent two intensive days exploring a question that feels increasingly relevant: How do we use AI to strengthen collaboration without weakening the human skills that make collaboration work in the first place? The conversations, ideas, and solutions that emerged were a reminder that the future of teamwork isn’t only about smarter technology.
