What happens when technology meets policy? 🤝 Last week, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Mariella Masselink (European Commission, DG GROW) and Thomas STEIERT (European Commission, Enterprise Europe Network), together with Bayern Innovativ GmbH and Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B), to our headquarters in Erlangen. 🔬 #LOHC technology in practice 🛠️ Our CEO Dr Andreas Lehmann showcased how our LOHC-BT technology enables efficient and flexible hydrogen import into Europe, as well as safe hinterland transport using existing, well-established liquid fuel infrastructure. We also presented selected projects and provided first-hand insights during a tour of our technical hall, where we demonstrated our own research plants and gave a sneak peek into customer projects currently in development. 🚀 Turning dialogue into momentum The exchange made one thing very clear: frameworks like #REDIII and instruments such as #IPCEI are essential to enable the hydrogen ramp-up in Europe. Their success, however, will depend on how effectively they translate into practical, scalable projects. Discussing our LOHC technology and ongoing initiatives, we explored where regulatory progress is already creating momentum and where further alignment is needed to bridge the gap between political ambition and industrial implementation. For innovative SMEs, clarity, speed and consistency in regulation remain key to unlock investments and scale solutions. This is why direct dialogue matters. Continued exchange between policymakers and industry will be crucial to ensure that Europe remains both a leader in innovation and a competitive market for hydrogen technologies. 🙏 A big thank you to Mariella Masselink, Thomas STEIERT, the Enterprise Europe Network Bayern, Bayern Innovativ GmbH and Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B) for the open and forward-looking discussion. Together, we are driving Europe’s path towards a decarbonized energy future. #greenhydrogen #LOHC #Cleantech
