Hydrogen Europe Research is pleased to welcome its first member from New Zealand: the University of Canterbury! 🇳🇿🤝🇪🇺 This marks an important step in the growing international dimension of our community, 🌐following the acceptance of our first Canadian member in 2024. Since 2023, New Zealand has been associated with Horizon Europe, opening the door to stronger collaboration between Europe and New Zealand on #hydrogen #research and innovation and allowing knowledge and expertise to flow more easily across countries. 🌍🔬📚 International cooperation is essential to accelerate the energy transition. The challenges we face are global, and progress depends on connecting expertise, sharing knowledge, and building strong partnerships across borders. 🤝 Dr Tamsin Sheen, Research and Innovation, University of Canterbury, shared:💬 “The University of Canterbury is delighted to be joining the Hydrogen Europe Research community. The involvement of a partner from New Zealand reflects both the global significance of hydrogen research and the value of stronger international collaboration in accelerating clean energy solutions.
