Project Update :- Hoima Mini Hydropower Plant (3.312 MW) We’re excited to share steady progress at the Hoima Mini Hydropower Plant under the Orio Mini Hydropower Project Phase-01. Developed under the leadership of Uganda Energy Credit Capitalisation Company (UECCC), with Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd as Owner’s Engineer, HNAC Technology Co. Ltd as Main Contractor, and SAEMS Hydro Ltd as Sub-contractor, the project continues to move forward through strong teamwork and coordination. Construction works are advancing across key structures including waterways, powerhouse foundations, and associated infrastructure, while hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment fabrication progresses in preparation for installation.
