We had a great time hosting a U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Reverse Trade Mission delegation at Hydria this week. The group brought together energy leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa, including representatives from Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt, all working on the development of natural gas infrastructure and long-term energy strategy in their regions. It was a strong few hours of conversation and walkthroughs, focused on how gas storage and transport systems actually get deployed in real-world conditions. Not just equipment, but how everything connects across supply, logistics, and operations. A lot of alignment around the same core challenge: it’s not just about access to energy, it’s about how efficiently and reliably it can be delivered at scale. And beyond the technical side, it was just a really enjoyable visit. We wrapped things up with a Texas send-off with a customized hat bar, where everyone got to pick out and customize their own cowboy hat. Safe to say that was a highlight! Appreciate the time and conversations with the group. Looking forward to staying connected.
