🎉 A major milestone for Power2X: today we announced our Final Investment Decision and Notice to Proceed for the Djewels green hydrogen project, a 20MW facility in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. This is the first Power2X project to move into construction following the recent HyCC acquisition, with first production expected mid-2028. Djewels will supply approximately 2,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per year to industrial customers in the region, using innovative pressurized alkaline electrolysis technology from John Cockerill. The plant will be built at the Chemical Park in Delfzijl, directly connected to the Nobian facilities. When fully proven, this technology enables a lower footprint and costs for future larger scale facilities.
